Electric-blanket-related injuries and fires typically happen because people are using faulty blankets or do not use their blankets properly. To help stay safe and warm this winter and to help reduce the number of unsafe electric blankets being used at home, Moyle Home Accident Prevention (HAP) Group in association with Moyle District Council are holding a FREE Electrical Blanket Testing event in Moyle District Council Offices, Sheskburn House, Ballycastle on Friday 18thOctober 2013.
Faulty Blankets will be destroyed and replaced.
