Sea Gives Up Missing Polish Native

The remains of a Polish man who was washed off rocks at Ramore Head in Portrush while fishing on the 14th of September was found washed up at Carnlough in County Antrim on Friday afternoon.
Moyle Independent Councillor Padraig Mc Shane commended the Red Bay lifeboat crew from Cushendall who recovered the remains of the deceased.
“Often the sea around our coast refuses to give up her dead. In this case I am pleased for the family of the deceased Polish native who had visited the area a short time ago in the hope of recovering the remains of their loved one. While a tragic story I hope the discovery will bring an element of closure to the family.
Councillor Mc Shane continued;
“I would encourage anyone taking to the waters round our coast, including those fishing off our coastline, to be aware of the dangers and to begin a culture of wearing life jackets as this tragic incident is not the first of this nature”.
